In the United States there are stories of people lining up on the steps of a courthouse, waiting for the latest list of
foreclosure deals to be released to the public. Just be aware that the scrap you may have to get into to secure
one of these deals could be an omen of more scraps to come to collect rent, evict non-performers and haggle over
damages etc.
It is a fact, that there may well be many people doing extraordinarily well out of these kinds of properties, but from what I have heard from clients looking to capture these so called opportunities, they represent a tremendous amount of effort for relatively modest gains. Also, Capital growth will probably be lower in these properties. This is contrary to the great stories of 60% off. Try and get them if you are not in the business of securing them.
People coming to Costa Rica that claim they are self proclaimed "bottom feeders" or buyers "when there is blood in the streets" They say they will be here in one week.
In Costa Rica Real Estate, we have experienced the first drop in 20 years, which is quite amazing. Unfortunately, that does not translate into 50% discounts and even if it did, it would be folly to think you would get to those deals before the Bank, Attorney of Broker. When these get them, they go to friends and associates.
How do you find the deals? Costa Rica Retirement Vacation Properties and Costa Rica Development Properties are coast to coast throughout Costa Rica. We are a pure Real Estate Company and know it well. Our clients that come to us for deals understand that it is not always easy to find real deals. Even if you did, you have to be cognizant of the pitfalls you may experience.
What we like to do is to put you on a list of deal seekers, specifying your interest level, area you like and budget. Once we have what we feel meets your criteria, we contact you immediately. This may take time but it surely meets with less frustration or bad deals awaiting unwary buyers.
With our network, it surely happens with frequency. That is successful investing and taking advantage of deals.
