Ocean near the town
of Limon. It is one
of the four
international
airports in
Costa Rica.

It officially
reopened on
Saturday, July 1st,
2006 after being
closed nearly 20
years for Costa
Rican Domestic
Flights.
Puerto Limon and the Southern Caribbean Area towns of Cahuita, Puerto Viejo, Manzanillo and Gandoca, as well as the Indigenous Communities of Bri Bri, Hone Creek, Carbon 1 and 2, Shiroles and Suretka are all within 2 hours of the Puerto Limon Airport by Ground Transportation.
Nature Air Domestic Airline flies an early morning flight daily (7 days per week) from Tobias Bolaños International Airport in Pavas (San Jose Area) to Puerto Limon. The flight departs at 6:15am and arrives in Limon at 06:50am.
SANSA Regional Airline also flies special Charter Flights upon request from San Jose's Juan Santamaria International Airport in Alajuela.
In the near future, Nature Air also plans to fly 4 times weekly from Bocas del Toro International in Panama to Limon International.
