Living and retiring
in the central Pacific is a very appealing concept
today. Here you have the best of all worlds.
Starting with the beautiful Pacific Ocean with so
many great beaches to choose. It all begins at
Herradura, Jaco, Hermosa, Esterillos, Palo Seco,
Quepos and all the way to Manuel Antonio.
All this offers many activities such as Fishing,
Diving, Surfing and more....
One of the keys today is the new Highway connecting
the Capital, where all the great health care and
services one needs is only 45 minute away.
Welcome to the
Central Pacific.
Jaco Beach is the gateway city to the many
adventures and fun places that you will find in the
Central Pacific Region of Costa Rica. Jaco beach
has it all. The world class Los Suenos Marina is
located nearby and hosts a prestigious annual
billfish tournament. Anglers come from countries
worldwide to participate in this yearly event. This
area is a fisherman’s paradise.
Surfing, fishing,
boating & kayaking and sunset walks on the beach are
just a few of the outdoor activities you will enjoy
here. You will find something for everyone. The
list is activities is endless….championship golf,
course, tennis, fitness centers, yoga, hiking,
nature trails, swimming, bird watching, gardening,
jet skis, parasailing and of course the many fine
international restaurants and bakeries.
Jaco is the closest
beach town to the international airport and the
metropolitan city of San Jose. The new highway is
soon to be completed and will provide easy access
between the beach and the mega shopping centers and
amenities that San Jose offers. Residents of the
Jaco Beach area will be able to access US style
malls and shopping now with only a short hour drive.
You will find
plenty to do and a large friendly expatriate
community. We have a very active women’s club and
it’s a great way for newcomers to make friends in
the community.
Another very
popular activity here is surfing. The waves are
consistently large and many international surf
contests are scheduled in the nearby town of Hermosa
Beach.
Jaco is a great place to retire as the weather is
great, the people are friendly and the lifestyle is
very desirable. We hope that you will have the
opportunity to visit the Central Pacific and check
it out for yourself. Then you will be able to see
why everyone thinks this is the best place to live.
