Tournaments

There are many very good tournaments in Costa Rica. Some are put on by the respective Clubs and other by the association. Often the sponsors such as Airlines and Hotels offer some pretty exciting prized. Trips to Europe, USA and Hotels for a week or weekends.  The prizes are many as well.

The major tournament is the Costa Rican open which attracts a large field every year from Europe, USA and Canada. Talent is very good with a lot of former Tour players compete as well.

A good skins game
The Cariari Country Club in the central valley (San Jose area) has a Skins every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, just show up with $5 and introduce yourself and you are in.  Good camaraderie, fun after the game and most important be part of something.

This has been the tradition for over 20 years.
