There are a total of 13 Golf course currently in Costa Rica with one opening soon in Costa Rica's south Pacific.  

New coastal course
San Buenas Golf Resort located in San Buenas,  will be the first for the area and most welcomed.  Nine holes will open first to be followed soon by another nine.  The course is in a Country Club setting with options for homes, Condo and Villas.
