Welcome to Bio Home Caribe Sixaola, an ecological residence located just 8 km away from the vibrant town of Puerto Viejo, Limón and 4 km from the stunning beach of Punta Uva. Our property spans over 125 hectares and is situated on the same street as Armonica farm, giving easy access to the beautiful Bio Caribe from this side. The project also has another entrance from Sixaola street, making it easily accessible.

Our main objective at Bio Caribe is to develop the first "off the grid" ecological residence in Costa Rica, with a focus on sustainability. To achieve this goal, we have already begun construction on two ecological houses that are fully equipped with solar panels and a rain catchment tank, complete with a filter system. Although part of the project is connected to the ICE electrical grid, our aim is to have most of Bio Caribe "off the grid".

These houses are truly unique, with features such as being built with 2 shipping containers and 100% solar powered. We collect rainwater in a 40,000-liter tank which is filtered for various purposes. Additionally, the houses are built with pipes buried 3 meters underground which circulate air to create natural air conditioning. Our solar water heater ensures that the water is always warm and comfortable. And as if that wasn't enough, the houses also offer panoramic views of the stunning Panama mountain range.
